Report: Potential return dates for Tottenham duo after suffering injuries

Tottenham Hotspur were without three players through injury as they took on Sheffield United this weekend in the Premier League.

Hugo Lloris is a known long-term absentee and is not expected back until the new year after suffering a dislocated elbow against Brighton.

However, Jan Vertonghen and Erik Lamela both also missed the home draw against the newly-promoted side.

Lamela started the season well with Spurs, while Jan Vertonghen has been in and out of the team due to his pretty poor form so far in 2019/20.

Erik Lamela as scored three and assisted three in all competitions so far this season and looked to be getting an extended run in the team (Transfer Markt).

However, injury has once again been his downfall, and he will now have to battle Lo Celso and Dele Alli for a spot back in the starting XI.

Premier Injuries’ Injury Table claims that both Lamela and Vertonghen could potentially return on the 23rd of November, as Spurs take on West Ham United away.
