Report: Potential Spurs transfer could be helped if Dybala joins Inter Milan

According to TuttoSport, Paulo Dybala’s proposed move to Inter Milan this summer could pave for the way for Tottenham to swoop for Lautaro Martinez.

Martinez is thought to be on Tottenham’s radar ahead of the summer transfer window, with Gianluca Di Marzio naming the North Londoners and Atletico Madrid as the front-runners for the Argentine’s signature (Wettfreunde).

His compatriot Dybala is also expected to be on the move this summer, with the forward’s contract at Juventus running out in the summer (Transfermarkt).

90min reported recently that the 28-year-old’s representatives are in contact with Spurs over a potential summer transfer.

However, Tuttosport have now revealed that Antonio Conte’s men would be happy to let Dybala join Inter Milan on a free transfer.

The report claims that the Lilywhites could reignite their interest in Martinez when the transfer window reopens.

It is explained that Dybala moving to the Nerrazuri could convince Simone Inzaghi’s side to part ways with Martinez.

Spurs Web Opinion

Martinez would be a much better signing for Spurs than Dybala but the Inter star is likely to cost around £50m while the latter would likely be available on a free transfer.

While pursuing Martinez would be a no-brainer for Tottenham if Kane departs, it will be interesting to see if the North Londoners push ahead with a move for the Inter star even if the England captain stays.
