Daily Mail predict Tottenham’s final position in the Premier League top four race

The Daily Mail have predicted that Tottenham will pip their rivals to fourth place in the Premier League table this season.

The race for the final Champions League spot is finely poised heading into the business end of the campaign, with Spurs, Arsenal, Manchester United and West Ham still in contention.

All the clubs involved are within touching distance of each other, having dropped points at various stages of the season amidst congested schedules and injury problems.

And as the run-in approaches, the Daily Mail predict Tottenham will secure a place in the top four after analysing each of the sides’ upcoming fixtures.

Antonio Conte’s men currently occupy fourth, but suffered a small blip in their pursuit last week after losing 1-0 at home to Brighton.

While the performance was blunt overall, Spurs have been tipped to end the season on a high note as games against Brentford, Leicester, Liverpool, Arsenal, Burnley and Norwich are approaching.

Meanwhile, Arsenal have been predicted to finish fifth place, one behind Spurs, with a tough list of matches and injury concerns starting to mount up.

The inconsistent United will apparently have to settle for sixth, while West Ham could put their domestic campaign on the back-burner in seventh with a Europa League semi-final on the horizon.

Even with a few games remaining, there will be plenty of twists and turns considering how up and down the sides involved have been all season.

Spurs have the kindest fixture list out of all the teams but that doesn’t necessarily guarantee points on the board, so full focus will be needed for the final six.
