As we enter the final few hours of the transfer window, several clubs are frantically hurrying to get deals over the line before the 5 pm deadline.
According to the Daily Mail, one player who could have been on his way out of the club before the window shuts is Danny Rose. The England international is said to have been the subject to a late approach by Watford.
The report claims that Watford have inquired about the 29-year-old’s availability but Spurs have refused to sell him for the moment. However, the report asserts that Rose might leave once Spurs announce Sessegnon.
While this deal is said to be unlikely to materialise, it is also suggested that PSG are still tracking the Spurs full-back and could yet launch a move for him within the next two weeks.
Spurs Web Opinion
We at Spurs Web believe that since Sessegnon not yet the finished product, it certainly makes sense to hang on to Rose for at least one more season. However, if the club receives a good offer for the England full-back, he will likely be let go this summer.
