Report: Premier League club could loan out 23-year-old linked with Tottenham

The Guardian have suggested that Manchester United could be open to loaning out rumoured Tottenham target Jadon Sancho in January.

Sancho has been completely frozen out at United after his public spat with Erik Ten Hag earlier this season and various outlets have reported over the last couple of months that Tottenham are monitoring the youngster’s situation.

This includes a recent update by Fichajes.net, who were one of several publications to suggest that Ange Postecoglou is a fan of the England international.

The likes of Borussia Dortmund and Juventus have also been credited with an interest in the 23-year-old over recent weeks (Daily Mail).

Loan move could be on the cards for Jadon Sancho

The Guardian have now offered an update on Sancho’s future, stating that Man Utd are keen to recoup as much as possible of the £73m fee that they paid to sign the player in 2021.

However, it is explained that the Red Devils are aware that getting a huge fee for the winger is ‘out of the question’ in the January market, which is why they might allow the attacker to leave on loan.

The report names Juventus, RB Leipzig, Bayer Leverkusen, and Barcelona as admirers of Sancho while adding that the former Dortmund star has also been offered to Saudi Pro League sides.

Spurs Web Opinion

The Sancho to Spurs rumours have completely died over the last month or so, which suggests that the Lilywhites have decided to look beyond the 23-year-old. Besides, Ten Hag may last just a few more weeks at Old Trafford, and if the Dutchman is sacked, United might re-consider their stance on Sancho.
