Report: Premier League club could return with interest in Tottenham player

According to The Daily Mail, Manchester United have not admitted defeat in their pursuit of Harry Kane just yet.

Over the last couple of days, multiple sources have revealed that Bayern Munich are expected to continue their efforts to sign Kane this summer despite their opening two offers being rejected by Spurs (Fabrizio Romano – Here We Go podcast).

A few days ago, it was reported by RMC Sport that Paris Saint-Germain had also entered the race for the Tottenham man’s signature.

The publication asserted that the Parisians were prepared to do ‘everything possible’ to snap up Kane and are even ready to offer €100m (£86m) for his services.

The Mail have now also backed up PSG’s interest in Kane, asserting that the Ligue 1 giants’ presence could push up the striker’s price.

However, the publication adds that Bayern will ‘draw a line’ at a certain point and consider returning for the striker in January if the price becomes excessive.

The report also asserts that United, who are now focused on signing Rasmus Hojlund from Atalanta, could re-enter the picture for Kane.

It is pretty clear by now that Daniel Levy would not consider selling Kane to another Premier League side.

If the 29-year-old does end up leaving Spurs this summer, it would probably be to join Bayern, with the striker seemingly having his heart set on a move to the Allianz Arena.
