Report: Premier League club keeping tabs on three Spurs players ahead of transfer window

According to Football Insider, Everton are keeping tabs on out-of-favour Tottenham trio, Dele Alli, Harry Winks and Paulo Gazzaniga, ahead of the January transfer window.

The Athletic reported that Gazzaniga came close to a move to Everton during last month’s transfer deadline day but the two clubs failed to agree on a transfer fee.

The Argentine has not had a single minute of football this season, with summer signing Joe Hart displacing him as Hugo Lloris’ main understudy.

Alli, meanwhile, has not started a Premier League game since the opening day defeat to the Toffees, and reports indicate that could look for an exit route in January (Daily Mail).

Winks has not made Tottenham’s matchday squad for their last four league matches, with The Telegraph reporting last week that the England international could also consider his future at the club if his situation fails to change until January.

Winks and Alli both played in last night’s 4-0 victory against Ludogorets in the Europa League, however it remains to be seen whether either will be included in the match day squad for Sunday’s London Premier League derby at Chelsea.

Football Insider now claim that Everton are looking at potential loan deals and bargain transfers to strengthen their squad, having invested significantly during the previous transfer window.

The report suggests that they could try and snap up Winks and Alli on loan, while they could turn to Gazzaniga after admitting defeat in their pursuit of Sergio Romero from Manchester United.
