According to a report from Cadena Sar, Manchester City have now entered the race to sign rumoured Tottenham Hotspur target Achraf Hakimi.
Hakimi has enjoyed two fantastic seasons on loan at Borussia Dortmund and is currently one of the most highly sought after young full-backs in world football.
The 21-year-old will return to Real Madrid at the end of the season after finishing his spell at Dortmund and reports indicate that the Spanish giants may be willing to cash in (AS).
Tottenham have reportedly made the Moroccan international one of their main right-back targets this summer (Bladi.net).
However, Cadena Sar now reports that Manchester City have ‘insisted the most’ for Hakimi’s signature in recent weeks.
Pep Guardiola’s side are said to be keeping track of the defender’s situation and it is claimed that the Real Madrid’s man’s profile fits the club’s requirement.
The report suggests that City are prepared to pay €60million (£54m) to sign Hakimi when the transfer market opens.

As things stand, Hakimi is the most talented young right-back in world football along with Trent Alexander-Arnold, so he certainly won’t come cheap. Given our financial situation at the moment and the kind of price being reported, we have zero chance of landing him this summer.
