According to Goal (as relayed by Sky Sports’ live transfer blog – July 30), Burnley have now launched an offer for Galatasaray right-back Sacha Boey.
Boey has emerged as one of the most impressive right-backs in Turkish football since making the switch to Galatasaray from Ligue 1 outfit Rennes two years ago.
Tottenham’s interest in the Frenchman first came to light earlier this month when journalist Zeki Uzundurukan told Transfer Plus (06/07/23 via GS Gazete) that the Lilywhites were monitoring the full-back.
Uzundurukan stated that Galatasaray vice president Erden Timur even recently travelled to London and spoke to Spurs about their interest in the player.
Aksam subsequently reported last week that Tottenham face competition from Arsenal and Newcastle for the Frenchman’s services.
Burnley submit offer for Spurs-linked Sacha Boey
If Goal’s latest update is to be believed, Burnely are the latest Premier League side to enter the race for Boey, with the newly promoted club alleged to have made their opening offer for the right-back.

Interestingly, the outlet reveals that Arsenal have already had an offer rejected for the 22-year-old, who is said to be valued at €25m (£21.5m) by Galatasaray.
Spurs Web Opinion
With Pedro Porro, Emerson Royal and Djed Spence at his disposal, Postecoglou is pretty well stocked for options at right-back. So, I would be surprised if Spurs strengthened that position during the current transfer window.
