Report: Premier League club willing to let Spurs target leave but only for £75m offers

Tottenham Hotspur have left themselves short in the left-back department this season, despite signing young Ryan Sessegnon in the summer transfer window.

Ben Davies spent the vast majority of Mourinho’s time in charge on the sidelines with an injury, while Danny Rose has since been loaned out to Newcastle United.

However, one man Spurs have been linked with over a potential big-money signing is Leicester City’s Ben Chilwell (Express).

The full-back has developed to become one of the very best in the Premier League, while also seemingly tying down the first-choice left-back spot for England.

However, a report by 90 Mins has now revealed that Chilwell and Leicester have been in talks over a new contract for several months now.

Despite this, the Foxes would apparently be willing to sell their star left-back, but only if an offer of £75m comes in.

Leicester are reportedly keen on establishing themselves as a consistent top-four side, meaning that Spurs would have to break their transfer record if they want Chilwell.
