Report: Premier League rivals are considering battling Spurs for Richarlison

Sky Sports have revealed that Chelsea are now considering making a move for Everton striker Richarlison, who is also wanted by Tottenham Hotspur.

Spurs have been heavily linked with a move for Richarlison recently, with The Daily Mail reporting last week that Antonio Conte’s men have discussed the possibility of using Harry Winks as a makeweight in a deal to bring the Brazilian to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Goal Brasil reported on Friday that Tottenham plan on submitting an offer to Everton by the end of June and were also ready to hold talks with the 25-year-old’s representatives regarding personal terms.

However, Sky Sports have now revealed that Spurs could face competition from London rivals Chelsea for Richarlison.

The report claims that Thomas Tuchel’s men need attacking reinforcements with Romelu Lukaku heading back to Inter Milan, and are considering making a move for the former Watford star.

Richarlison is not the only attacking player that Spurs and Chelsea are battling for this summer, with the two clubs also said to be involved in the race for Leeds winger Raphinha along with Arsenal and Barcelona (Fabrizio Romano).

The one potential advantage that Spurs have over Chelsea and other suitors for Richarlison is Everton’s interest in Harry Winks. Fabio Paratici will likely look to leverage the Toffees’ interest in the England international to Tottenham’s favour but the decision might ultimately come down to the Brazilian himself.
