Report: Premier League side are ‘looking at’ Tottenham outcast Danny Rose

Sky Sports reporter, Kaveh Solhekol told The Transfer Show this week that Sam Allardyce’s West Brom are now looking at Danny Rose from Tottenham.

The January transfer window is well underway, with teams having just over three weeks to get their deals over the line before it slams shut again.

Allardyce may be looking to bring in a few signings of his own after taking over at West Brom recently and it is rather clear that Rose is not in Mourinho’s plans at Spurs.

The experienced left-back was not even handed a squad number or a place in the Premier League squad at the start of the season.

Solhekol reported that it was almost certain that the 30-year-old would be leaving Spurs in the January window and one source told him that the Baggies could potentially move for him if his contract situation in North London is sorted.

Rose still has six months left on his current deal with Tottenham, although he has not featured at all for the first-team this season.

Solhekol said (The Transfer Show 05/01/21 at 19:50): “There was one line that emerged before we came on air, which was regarding Danny Rose.

“It looks like almost certainly he’s going to be leaving Spurs.

“There could be the possibility of West Brom coming in for him. That’s unconfirmed, but that’s one source telling us that West Brom are looking at him and that’s a deal that could potentially happen if he sorts out his contract situation at Spurs.”
