Report: Premier League side to make bid for Spurs target ‘in the next 24 hours’

Tottenham Hotspur look set to run the risk of missing out on Norwich City’s Max Aarons.

The Mirror report that Crystal Palace are ready to make a move for the young right-back by launching a £10 million bid in the next 24 hours.

Palace are in the market following the sale of Aaron Wan-Bissaka to Manchester United for a £50 million fee and have earmarked Aarons as a suitable replacement.

Aarons is also said to be on the radar of Tottenham who are considering bringing in a new right-back should Kieran Trippier leave the club this summer (Football.London).

Trippier has been heavily linked with a move away from North London with both Napoli and Juventus having been credited with interest in the England international (The Sun).

Aarons, 19 is regarded as one of the brightest young talents in English football and caught the eye after making 43 appearances for Norwich in their Championship winning season.

The report suggests that Norwich are likely to rebuff any opening bid of £10 million which they view as below their valuation.
