Report: Premier League star’s new agent trying to broker a move to Spurs

According to a report by the Daily Mirror, Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha’s new agent Pini Zahavi is trying to broker a deal to get the 27-year-old to Tottenham.

The report claims that Zaha has appointed Zahavi in an attempt to engineer a move away from Palace as he is said to have his heart set on joining a team where he will get to play Champions League football and compete for silverware.

The report suggests that Zahavi wants to complete a deal to get the Ivorian to Spurs, despite the Lilywhites refusing to pay Palace’s £80million asking price in the summer.

The player’s new agent has reportedly also sounded out Bayern Munich regarding the possibility of signing the pacey wide man.

Jose Mourinho is said to be keen on adding attack-minded players to the squad in the January transfer window after the recent injury blows to Harry Kane and Moussa Sissoko.

Spurs Web Opinion

While everyone will agree that Zaha is a fantastic player who will be a great addition to any squad, the question has always been whether he was worth the inflated amount that Palace seem to want for him. While his numbers aren’t really that impressive, I believe he is capable of going up another level for a team which plays on the front foot.
