Tottenham News have reported that they have heard from a source close to the North London club that Ivan Toney is keen to join the Lilywhites this summer.

It has been widely reported that Ange Postecoglou wants to add a number nine to his squad this summer, particularly with Richarlison potentially on his way out of the club.
The latest to carry this claim was ESPN, who suggested last week that one of the centre-forwards on Ange Postecoglou’s wishlist is Toney, who has just a year left to run on his contract with Brentford.
The 27-year-old is one of just a handful of strikers who guarantees goals in the Premier League and one would thus expect plenty of competition for his services.
Over recent weeks, it has been reported that Spurs would have to battle the likes of West Ham, Chelsea and Man Utd for the England international’s signature (TBR Football).

Ivan Toney wants Tottenham move
If Tottenham News’ latest update is to be believed, the Brentford star is keen on moving to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The website says that Toney is expected to exit the Gtech Community Stadium and that is very much in favour of making the move across London to Spurs.
In fact, they allege that they have been told by a source close to Tottenham that the striker would ‘jump at the chance’ to sign for Ange Postecoglou’s men.
Spurs Web Opinion
The question is not whether Toney is open to the move but rather whether Tottenham are open to meeting Brentford’s asking price and the player’s salary demands. The North London club’s decision will likely be heavily influenced by what happens with Richarlison this summer.
