Report: Prolific striker offered to Spurs for £25m this summer

The Daily Mail have claimed that Torino striker, Andrea Belotti has been offered to Tottenham Hotspur for just £25m amidst speculation linking Harry Kane with a move away from the club.

It was reported last summer that Tottenham had an offer of around €50m (£46.3m) rejected by Torino for Belotti, with the club’s sporting director Davide Vagnati also confirming Spurs’ approach.

Reports from Italy have backed the North Londoners to make another attempt to sign the experienced striker this summer, with Spurs said to be at the front of the queue for his signature (La Stampa via TuttoMercatoWeb).

However, some sources have claimed Jose Mourinho could look to take the Italian international to Roma this summer.

The Daily Mail named Belotti as one of the options Tottenham can replace Kane with if the England captain does leave his boyhood club.

It is explained that the Torino star, who has just over 12 months left on his contract, is available for just £25m.

However, Belotti is also said to have been offered to other Premier League clubs ahead of the summer transfer window.

Spurs Web Opinion

I have always been a fan of Belotti and I believe his game is well-suited to the Premier League. However, if we do lose Kane, we are going to have to sign more than just one top striker to replace him.
