Report provides Man City update on Spurs-linked Dusan Vlahovic

According to a report from La Repubblica, Manchester City are ready to splash the cash on Tottenham target Dusan Vlahovic in January.

Reports over recent weeks hinted that the race for Vlahvoic was between Spurs, Arsenal and Juventus.

It was suggested that the two North London clubs were willing to spend €70m (£59.5m) on the Serbian international, a value that Juventus allegedly are not in a position to meet.

However, La Repubblica have now claimed that Manchester City and Manchester United are also keen on the Fiorentina star ahead of January.

The report explains that City are set to move for the 21-year-old next month after missing out on Harry Kane in the summer. It is alleged that Pep Guardiola ‘loves’ Vlahovic’s qualities and his eye for goals.

Vlahvoic is said to be valued at £55m by the Viola, an amount the Premier League champions are thought to be willing to pay.

Spurs Web Opinion

If City do hold a serious interest in Vlahovic, then realistically, Spurs will not have any chance of signing him. While I can see us outbidding Arsenal and Juventus, Guardiola’s men will be able to blow us out of the water.
