Estadio Deportivo claim that Real Sociedad are now just waiting on Tottenham to make a decision about Bryan Gil’s future before pushing ahead with a move for the winger.
Gil, who has struggled to adapt to the Premier League since his move to Spurs from Sevilla last summer, is currently undergoing pre-season with the squad in South Korea.
Reports over recent weeks have suggested that Valencia are keen on extending the 21-year-old’s stay at the club on the back of his loan spell at the Mestalla during the second half of last season (Mundo Deportivo).
Marseille have also been credited with an interest in Gil (Fabrizio Romano) but Golsmedia reported last week that it is Sociedad who are the front-runners to snap up the Spain international this summer.
Estadio Deportivo have now revealed that Sociedad are keen on signing another attacker this summer, with Gil said to be one of the players on the La Liga club’s wishlist.
However, it is explained that Imanol Alguacil’s side are now waiting for Conte to make a decision on the winger’s future.

I do not think Gil will be at Tottenham next season. The only decision the club have to make is whether to loan the 21-year-old out or to cash in on him. Perhaps, Conte wants to take a closer look at Gil during pre-season to decide whether the Spaniard is worth persevering with over the long-term.
