Report provides update on futures of Spurs-linked duo Bremer and Skriniar

Fabrizio Romano has revealed that while Paris Saint-Germain are expected to make an improved offer for Milan Skriniar, Inter Milan are set to meet with Torino to push through a deal to sign Gleison Bremer.

Gazzetta dello Sport reported last month that Tottenham were eyeing a move for Skriniar this summer, and the North London club’s interest in the Slovak was also backed up by journalist Ben Jacobs last week.

However, TuttoMerctoWeb subsequently revealed that PSG were leading the race for Skriniar and were hopeful of reaching an agreement with Inter despite their opening offer of €50m (£42.7m) falling short of the Nerazzuri’s valuation.

Romano has taken to social media to state that the Parisians are expected to launch an offer of €60m (£51.3m) plus add-ons to snap up Skriniar.

The journalist further added that Simone Inzaghi’s side are expected to replace the 27-year-old with another Spurs target in the form of Bremer, with a meeting scheduled with Torino regarding the Brazilian.

This news comes just a couple of days after SportsMediaset claimed that Tottenham are set to step up their interest in Bremer.

Spurs Web Opinion

The fact that Spurs are seemingly happy to let Bremer join Inter, suggests that the North London club have something up their sleeve.

If the Brazilian (or Skriniar for that matter) was at the top of Conte’s and Paratici’s wishlist, one would have expected us to step up our interest.

So, it seems like Tottenham have a clear idea of which centre-backs they want to get and are confident of getting a deal done this window.
