Report provides update on Gleison Bremer sale amidst Spurs and Inter Milan links

According to Tuttosport, Torino are waiting for Tottenham target Gleison Bremer to depart so that they can push ahead with moves for their own transfer targets.

Bremer is thought to be one of the defenders on Tottenham’s radar, with Antonio Conte reportedly keen on making multiple additions at centre-half (Football.London).

The Brazilian admitted earlier this month that he expects to leave Torino this summer and is keen to test himself in the Champions League (ESPN Brazil).

Torino Granata reported a few days ago that the Serie A club are waiting for Spurs to make an offer for the Bremer despite Inter Milan also showing interest in the centre-back.

Inter are thought to have agreed on personal terms with the 25-year-old but the Nerazzurri have allegedly not been able to agree on a transfer fee with Tornio, who are demanding €35m (£30m) for the defender (SportsMediaset).

Tuttosport have now claimed that Torino have to sell players in order to buy this summer and that manager Ivan Juric is waiting for the funds from Bremer’s sale in order to pursue his targets.

The report adds that the Serie A club will make a move for Salzburg centre-back Oumar Solet when the Brazilian departs.

Spurs Web Opinion

If Bremer was really a top target for Tottenham, one would have expected the North Londoners to have already completed a deal, given that the asking price being reported for the 25-year-old is quite modest.

The fact that we have not moved for the likes of Bremer or Pau Toress so far, suggests that the club might have something up their sleeve that the media has not quite picked up on yet.
