According to Sky Italia, Inter Milan have now begun talks with Torino regarding a deal for rumoured Tottenham target Gleison Bremer.
It was reported last month that Spurs were battling it out with Inter Milan for Bremer’s signature this summer (SportMediaset (27/06/22 via SportWitness).
However, CalcioMercato.com claimed on Tuesday that the Brazilian would prefer a move to the San Siro rather than joining a Premier League club.
Sky Italia have now stated that Inter have stepped up their efforts to sign Bremer as Milan Skriniar edges closer to a move to Paris Saint-Germain.
The report claims that the Nerazzurri have ‘formalised’ their interest in the 25-year-old for the first time and have now met with Torino, as well as the centre-back’s agent, regarding the transfer.
It is alleged that Torino value Bremer at €40m (£33.8m) but they are interested in Inter midfielder Cesare Casadei, who could be used as a makeweight in the operation.
Spurs Web Opinion
It seems increasingly likely that Bremer is heading to the San Siro. I suspect that Lenglet will be our only centre-back signing of the summer window.
While I expect Joe Rodon to leave, I expect at least one of Japhet Tanganga or Davison Sanchez to stay, which will leave Conte with five options for the three centre-back positions.
