The representatives of Phillipe Coutinho are reportedly working through the transfer proposals of Tottenham and two other Premier League clubs, according to Mundo Deportivo (via Sport Witness).
The Barcelona midfielder, 29, has endured a relatively poor stint with the Spanish giants since completing a big-money move from Liverpool in January 2018.
Coutinho has made just five starts for the Blaugrana in La Liga this term and has yielded just two goals in return.
Reports have claimed that Barcelona have been looking to offload the Brazilian playmaker due to his hefty earnings, with the likes of Tottenham and Newcastle being tipped as potential destinations in January.
Mundo Deportivo have since revealed that Coutinho has accepted an exit from the Camp Nou is looking all the more likely, while his representatives are now working to find a solution, with a return to the Premier League on the cards.
The report states the agents have received three transfer proposals for their client, with Antonio Conte’s Spurs being one of the sides involved in proceedings.
However, it goes on to add that ‘nothing advanced’ has been reached with any of the interested parties as of yet.
Spurs Web Opinion
Spurs do need a creative outlet in their squad, but there is a question as to if Coutinho is really the player to fill that void. He will also cost a fair amount with his wages too, so ultimately this might be one for Conte to steer clear of.
