Report: PSG could impact Tottenham’s race to sign Brazilian centre-back this summer

FC Inter News have claimed that Milan Skrinair’s move to Paris Saint-Germain could allow Inter Milan to swoop for Torino centre-back Gleison Bremer, who is reported to be on Tottenham’s radar.

SportMediaset (27/06/22 via Inter-News and SportWitness) reported earlier this week that Spurs and Inter are battling it out of Bremer’s signature.

The report explained that the Nerazzurri have agreed on personal terms with the Brazilian but have not been able to agree on a transfer fee with Tornio.

It was alleged that Torino are hopeful that Spurs will make an offer for the 25-year-old and are hoping to raise €40m (£34.5m) from his sale.

However, according to FC Inter News’ latest update, Tottenham’s pursuit of Bremer might be impacted by Skriniar’s future.

The report claims that Inter and PSG are in talks over a deal for the Slovak and the negotiations could ‘take off’ over the next few days.

It is explained that if the Parisians agree to pay the €70m (£60.3m) that Simone Inzaghi’s side want for Skriniar, that could allow Inter to complete the signing of the Torino centre-back as well as Fiorentina’s Nikola Milenkovic.

Spurs Web Opinion

I believe that Bremer will end up joining Inter this summer and that the deal will likely go through once the Nerazzurri get a cash influx from Skriniar’s sale.

If Tottenham were keen on Bremer they would have likely already submitted an offer, given that the Brazilian is expected to be relatively inexpensive.
