Report: PSG could move for manager allegedly being considered by Spurs

The Evening Standard have revealed that Paris Saint-Germain could make a move to rehire Thomas Tuchel, who is rumoured to be in consideration for the Tottenham job.

Amidst the uncertainty around Conte’s future at Spurs, it has been suggested over recent months that the North London club could turn to Tuchel to replace the Italian (Daily Mail).

However, over recent weeks, Mauricio Pochettino (Ben Jacobs) and Roberto De Zerbi (Football Insider) have been suggested as the more likely candidates to replace Conte at the helm.

If The Evening Standard’s latest update is to be believed, Tuchel might not be available for too long, with PSG now considering bringing him back to the club, a little over two years since sacking the German coach.

It is asserted that the Parisians have grown frustrated with Christophe Galtier and are willing to admit that they made a mistake by letting Tuchel leave.

The report adds that the 49-year-old is now ready to return to management and looking for a club that is competing for titles in any of Europe’s top five leagues but he would need some convincing to return to the Ligue 1 giants.
