Report: PSG now willing to do ‘everything possible’ to land Harry Kane

RMC Sport have revealed that Paris Saint-Germain have now stepped up their pursuit of Harry Kane and are now prepared to pay €100m (£85.3m) for the Tottenham Hotspur striker.

The report claims that PSG are now prioritising the aquisition of a new striker and are ‘concentrating their efforts’ on landing Kane during the current transfer window.

It is said that representatives from the Ligue 1 giants even travelled to London earlier this week to hold talks with Spurs chairman Daniel Levy and the striker’s agent and brother, Charlie.

PSG ready to make offer for Harry Kane

The outlet explains that PSG would first have to convince Kane to make the move to Parc des Princes, which ‘won’t be easy’ since the striker prefers to join Bayern Munich, even though the German club still do not have an agreement in place with Spurs.

Bayern are reportedly preparing a third offer, having seen two previous bids having been turned down.

RMC Sport claim that the Parisians will try to convince Kane that he can flourish in the French capital and plan on reiterating the same to the 29-year-old’s representatives.

The report adds that Luis Enrique’s side are prepared to do ‘everything possible’ to land the England captain and remain hopeful that their president Nasser Al-Khelaifi‘s good relationship with Levy will help them strike a €100m (£85.3m) deal.

Kane reported back for pre-season training with Tottenham earlier today ahead of the club jetting off to Australia on Friday to begin their preparations for the 2023/24 campaign.

If PSG do seriously enter the race for Kane, a bidding war between them and Bayern could well eventually result in one of them making a £100m offer. If such an offer arrives on Levy’s table, the Spurs chairman would certainly have a lot to think about.
