Report: Real Betis are making plans for Lo Celso exit

Real Betis are lining up a move for Rennes midfield ace Benjamin Bourigeaud according to a report from the Daily Star which could prove encouraging news for Tottenham.

Lo Celso is currently on holiday following Argentina crashing out of the Copa America so any potential deal could take a number of weeks to be completed.

However, Betis’ transfer activity could provide the Lilywhites with some optimism over a potential deal for Lo Celso with the Spanish side eyeing Bourigeaud from Rennes.

Bourigeaud has also been linked with a move to Liverpool this window but would be unlikely gain much first-team football at the Reds so a move elsewhere may be favoured by the Frenchman. (Estadio Deportivo)

Spurs Web Opinion:

Any deal for Lo Celso will depend on Daniel Levy offering the Spanish side the right money. If he is willing to give Betis what they want for Lo Celso, they will sell. The figure being rumoured suggests it would take around £65m to bring the Argentine to London and it is unlikely Betis would be able to turn an offer like that down.
