Report: Real Madrid are willing to talk to Tottenham about a deal for youngster

According to the print edition of Super Deporte (as relayed by Sport Witness), Real Madrid are now willing to loan out Arda Guler next summer after Tottenham expressed an interest in the midfielder.

Guler has found game time hard to come by at the Santiago Bernabeu this season since making a €30m (£25.6m) switch from Fenerbahce last summer, partly due to his injury issues.

A couple of days ago, Okdiario revealed that Tottenham and Bayern Leverkusen were keeping track of the 18-year-old’s situation and that both clubs had offered to sign the teenager on loan in the summer.

Real Madrid open to a temporary move for Arda Guler

This information has now been backed up by Super Deporte, who say that amidst Spurs’ and Leverkusen’s advances, Los Blancos are willing to consider loaning out Guler.

Apart from the Premier League and Bundesliga sides, it is revealed that AC Milan are also interested in securing the Turkey international’s services.

It is explained that while Carlo Ancelotti’s men will listen to loan offers, they would seek guarantees from clubs that the attacking midfielder would get regular game time.

Spurs Web Opinion

I do not think Tottenham will be interested in a straight loan move without an option to buy and Ange Postecoglou will certainly not make any promises regarding guaranteed game time for Guler. This transfer rumour thus seems like a complete non-starter.
