Report: Real Madrid believe Kane might be more attainable than Mbappe or Haaland

According to a report from Cadena SER, Harry Kane remains on Real Madrid’s radar, with the Spanish giants viewing the Tottenham striker as an alternative to Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland.

Previous reports have indicated that Kane is a summer target for the likes of Manchester City, Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain

However, The Athletic’s David Ornstein claimed this week that his sources have indicated that the striker is likely to stay put at Spurs for next season and could even spend the rest of his career with the North Londoners.

Cadena SER now suggest that Real Madrid believe a deal for Kane might prove less complicated than deals for Mbappe or Haaland since the Tottenham striker is represented by his brother.

Although the PSG attacker is said to be a long-term target for the club and Haaland also reportedly has admirers at the Santiago Bernabeu, Zinedine Zidane’s side could potentially decide to move for the Spurs star instead.

It is asserted that Los Blancos believe they can take advantage of the good relationship they have with Tottenham on the back of the Bale transfer last summer to hash out a deal for Kane.

It remains to be seen whether Kane will push for a move or not. However, getting the Tottenham striker is certainly not going to be easier than getting Mbappe or Halland.

In fact, given that the England captain still has three years left on his contract at Spurs, Levy is guaranteed to make the negotiations difficult and squeeze every penny out that he can out of the deal if Kane asks to leave.
