According to a report in Don Balon (as relayed by TEAMtalk), Real Madrid are we weighing up an offer for Tottenham Hotspur forward, Heung-min Son.

Son has been one of Spurs’ most consistent performers over the past few years and is arguably the Lilywhites’ most valuable star after Harry Kane.

The South Korea international has been prolific during his time in North London and his performances are said to have caught Real Madrid’s attention.

It is claimed that Los Blancos president, Florentino Perez, is a keen admirer of the Spurs forward and wants to bring him to the Santiago Bernabeu.

The report claims that Tottenham will be unwilling to listen to any offer below €150million (£135m) for the forward who is contracted until 2023, but Madrid are unlikely to be able to afford that asking price this summer.

However, it is suggested that the Spanish giants are prepared to test the water with a lower offer for the South Korean.

Spurs Web Opinion

This rumour is a complete non-starter as I doubt Tottenham would be willing to let Son go even for €150million. The striker is not only an extremely important player for us but seems to love playing for the club. He does not seem like the sort of character to force a move away. Given the current state of the market, I cannot see anyone being able to pay the kind of money Levy is likely to demand for the South Korean.
