Report: Real Madrid could make move for Spurs star next summer – Not Reguilon

According to a report from Spanish outlet Defensa Central, Real Madrid are eyeing a move for Harry Kane next summer.

Manchester City pushed to sign the England captain during the transfer window after he allegedly told Tottenham that he wanted a move away from the club.

Pep Guardiola’s men were unsuccessful in their attempts to lure Kane to the Etihad Stadium as they ultimately failed to reach an agreement with Spurs chief Daniel Levy.

Kane has endured a sluggish start to the season following his failed move in the summer and Eurosport claimed last month that City are unlikely to reignite their interest in the 28-year-old in the future, with the striker potentially open to signing a new deal with Spurs.

However, Defensa Central have now suggested that the England captain could be La Liga bound next summer.

The report explains that Kane is still on Real Madrid’s radar, with Los Blancos viewing the Tottenham man as a backup in case they are unable to land Kylian Mbappe or Erling Haaland.

Kane made it clear during his interview with Gary Neville over the summer that moving abroad is not something that interests him. It will be interesting to see whether the striker will change his mind on that if City do not reignite their interest in him.

I suspect he will not want to leave England as breaking Alan Shearer’s all-time Premier League goal record is something the Tottenham man is clearly desperate to do.
