Report: Real Madrid make transfer decision on Tottenham and Arsenal stars

Real Madrid are ready to abandon their chase for Tottenham striker Harry Kane and pursue a deal for Arsenal’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang instead, according to reports from Spain.

Kane has been linked with a move away from Tottenham in the summer, with Manchester United (Evening Standard) and Juventus (Tuttosport) both said to be keen on signing him.

However, Spanish media outlet Diario Madridista now report that the Spurs star is also high up Real Madrid’s summer wish list (as relayed by Daily Star).

However, the report goes on to reveal that Los Blancos have already been told by Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy that the striker is not for sale.

It is claimed that the Spanish giants do not wish to get dragged into an elongated transfer saga with Spurs over Kane and are hence ready to turn their attentions to Aubameyang.

The report goes on to assert that the Real Madrid hierarchy believe doing business with Mikel Arteta’s outfit will be far easier than trying to lure Kane away from Spurs.

Spurs Web Opinion

I believe Spurs fans who fear that Kane might leave this summer can rest easy because there is no way Levy will allow the striker to leave with four years left to run on his deal. However, we need to show signs of improvement this season and prove to Kane that he can win silverware with Spurs.
