Report: Real Madrid man linked with Spurs has spoken to Modric about PL move

According to a report from Defensa Central, Lucas Vazquez, who is rumoured to be on Tottenham’s radar, has spoken to former Spurs midfielder Luka Modric about a potential move to the Premier League.

Tottenham are reportedly looking to sign Vazquez on a free transfer in the summer when his contract with Real Madrid runs out.

Previous reports from Spain revealed that negotiations between the 29-year-old and Madrid had hit a roadblock, with the La Liga giants not prepared to offer the pay rise he is looking for.

The Daily Mirror claimed last week that the Real Madrid wide man is open to the idea of reuniting with Jose Mourinho at Spurs.

It has also been claimed that Everton, Napoli and AC Milan have already put offers on the table for the Spanish international.

Defensa Central has now revealed that Vazquez is increasingly likely to leave Real Madrid in the summer, even though Zinedine Zidane wants to keep him at the club.

The report reveals that the winger has spoken to his teammates Modric and Eden Hazard about the Premier League while he also remains open to a switch to the Serie A.
