Report: Real Madrid may be ‘set to raid Tottenham’ again this summer

According to a report from Spain, Tottenham may face a test to keep their hands on club-record signing, Tanguy Ndombele this summer.

Fichajes have reported that Carlo Ancelotti and Real Madrid are interested in signing the French midfielder in order to reinforce their midfield options.

It is said that the former Everton manager even believes that he could sign Ndombele for a cut-price this summer, with the Spurs man not exactly lighting up North London since making the move from France.

Although it was certainly an improved season from the ex-Lyon midfielder last time out, he still finished the campaign on the fringes of the starting eleven under interim boss Ryan Mason and subsequently missed out on France’s Euro 2020 squad.

Spurs signed Ndombele for around £54m back in 2019 and he still has four years left on his contract in North London.

Spurs Web Opinion:

There is zero chance that Daniel Levy would sell Ndombele for anything less than a profit. I also still think that there is an incredible player in there waiting to come out, which hopefully we will see more of next season under Nuno.
