Tottenham Hotspur star, Christian Eriksen, has been the club’s chief playmaker ever since the day he arrived from Ajax.
The Great Dane has been a trusted member of the Pochettino era team and has given fans some amazing memories throughout the years.
However, Eriksen now has well under a year left on his current contract in North London, meaning his time in the capital may be coming towards a conclusion.
Eriksen will be able to talk to non-English clubs about a pre-contract agreement in January, followed by a free move in the summer.
Spurs could still look to sell the player in the winter window or use him as a bargaining chip in a deal for another player.
El Desmarque have now hinted towards the latter, stating that the Real Madrid president, Florentino Perez, is open to a player exchange deal involving Eriksen and James Rodriguez.
Wolves and Manchester United have also been linked to the Colombian playmaker who has apparently fallen out of favour in Madrid.
