Report: Real Madrid prepared to sell centre-half who is said to be interesting Spurs

Spanish news outlet Marca have revealed that Éder Militão and Vinícius Júnior could be sold to raise money for Real Madrid to pursue new transfer targets.

Corriere dello Sport claimed earlier this month that Tottenham Hotspur head coach Jose Mourinho had contacted his former employer to discuss the availability of Militão.

Militão has struggled for playing time at Madrid so far this season, making just two appearances in the Spanish top flight.

The 22-year-old was a £43million signing from Porto (Metro) in the summer of 2019 but has failed to establish himself at the Bernabeu, finding himself behind the likes of Sergio Ramos and Raphael Varane in the central defensive pecking order.

Journalist Duncan Castles has claimed that Mourinho is in the market for a new central defender who possesses pace after losing faith in Davinson Sanchez (Transfer Window podcast).

Bayern Munich are also said to be in the market for reinforcements for David Alaba, who is reported to be on his way out of the Allianz Arena with Militão mooted as a potential arrival (Goal).
