According to Turkish journalist, Ekrem Konur, Real Madrid are eyeing a move for Tottenham Hotspur forward Son Heung-min.
Son has made a blistering start to the season, having scored 15 goals and provided 8 assists so far this campaign (transfermarket.com).
The South Korean is one of the most in-form forwards in world football and has forged a lethal partnership with Harry Kane.
Reports indicate that Tottenham are negotiating a new contract with the 28-year-old which would put him on par with the club’s highest earners, Harry Kane and Tanguy Ndombele.
Italian transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano even claimed that it was only a matter of time before Son puts pen to paper on a new five or six-year contract with the club, with an agreement now said to be “really really close”.
However, Konur has now claimed that Zinedine Zidane is a fan of the former Bayer Leverkusen man and Real Madrid will meet with Spurs officials soon to discuss a potential transfer.
Zidane follows Heung-min Son closely. Real Madrid will soon meet with the Tottenham managers and get information about the player.

Multiple sources have now confirmed that Son is close to agreeing on a new contract with Tottenham, with Mourinho also hinting the same. Perhaps this rumour has been fed by the South Korean’s representatives to ensure the forward gets the best terms.
