Report: Real Madrid to offer cash plus player deal to land Spurs star

Real Madrid are ready to offer Tottenham Hotspur a cash plus player deal in order to try and land Christian Eriksen.

The Dane recently revealed that he would like to leave North London ahead of the new Premier League season to seek a fresh challenge (Ekstra Bladet).

The Sun are reporting that the Spanish giants are prepared to offer £45million plus midfielder Dani Ceballos with Zinedine Zidane keen to bring Eriksen to the Bernabeu.

Ceballos is currently in international duty with Spain’s Under-21 side and scored a stunning goal in their European championship defeat to Italy.

Eriksen only has twelve months left on his contract at Tottenham and could leave the club for free next summer unless either Daniel Levy can get an acceptable transfer fee for him or the player performs a complete turnaround and signs a new contract.

The report claims that Levy values Eriksen at around £100m but may have to lower his valuation if he does not want to risk the playmaker walking away.
