Report: Real Madrid to offer player swap in a bid to tempt Daniel Levy to sell first-team star

Real Madrid are considering making an approach for Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane this summer.

A report from Spanish news outlet Mundo Deportivo claim that the Spanish giants have been placed on alert by Kane’s recent comments over his future.

The forward revealed during an Instagram interview with former midfielder Jamie Redknapp that he would consider leaving Tottenham Hotspur in the future if they fail to match his ambitions to win silverware (Sky Sports).

Before the coronavirus pandemic caused the season grind to a halt, Spurs were set for another trophyless campaign having been eliminated from all cup competitions and found themselves down in eighth place in the Premier League League.

The report claims that Madrid are ready to tempt Tottenham with an offer which would include Gareth Bale or James Rodriguez heading to North London.

Madrid are said to be cautious about dealing with Spurs chairman Daniel Levy following his tough negotiations during the transfers of Luka Modric and Bale

Kane scored 11 goals in 20 Premier League games before his season was cut short through injury (transfermarkt).
