Report: Recent signing to discuss his future with Jose Mourinho this weekend

Summer signing Jack Clarke is returning to Tottenham Hotspur this weekend to hold discussions with Jose Mourinho.

The 19-year-old became Tottenham’s first signing in 517 days when he put pen to paper on a deal with the North London club before being loaned back immediately to his former club Leeds United for the duration of the 2019/20 campaign (Sky Sports).

Clarke has struggled for first team football this season since returning to Elland Road and has only made one Championship appearance which came as a late replacement against Leeds last month (transfermarkt).

The winger has had to feature more frequently for the club’s academy side which saw him catch the eye in Leeds Under-23’s 5-1 rout against their Bolton counterparts earlier this week (Yorkshire Evening Post).

Clarke is expected to be in the capital for Leeds’ match against Fulham on Saturday afternoon with Football Insider claiming that he will remain in London to watch Tottenham’s Premier League clash against Chelsea on Sunday.

He will sit down with Mourinho to discuss at which club he should play his football for the second half of the season with Spurs having the option of recalling him from his loan spell in January.

The report claims that Clarke is not short of admirers with Fulham, Middlesbrough, Derby and Nottingham Forest all monitoring his situation ahead of a potential loan spell.
