Report reveals Adama Traore update after claim Spurs were still interested last month

According to The Daily Mail, Wolves are still open to selling Tottenham-linked Adama Traore this summer.

TeamTalk reported this summer that Wolves may ever accept less than £20m to sell Traore.

Having been loaned to FC Barcelona in the January transfer window, Traore made ten La Liga appearances for Xavi’s side, providing two assists (TransferMarkt).

Sky Sports claimed that Spurs were close to signing the Spanish international in January, however, in the end, the player preferred a return to the club where he rose through the academy system.

Antonio Conte reportedly saw Traore as an option to solve his wing-back issues (The Times) and it now seems that the Italian has his eyes locked on Middlesbrough youngster Djed Spence, who is ready to switch to Spurs (The Telegraph).

However, 90 min reported last month that Tottenham were still interested in the winger.

The Daily Mail suggest that the 26-year-old is attracting interest from Leeds United, whose Sporting Director, Victor Orta, is a huge admirer of Traore following their time spent together at Boro.

Spurs Web Opinion

Traore is simply unplayable on his day. The issue is that it rarely seems to be his day. The winger’s end product has always been a question mark that takes away from his mercurial speed and power.

If Spurs were to lose Lucas Moura as well as Bergwijn, I wouldn’t be too shocked to see Conte sanction a move for the right-sided forward.
