Report reveals chances of ex-Spurs man getting big move may be diminishing

According to Soccer News, Noni Madueke’s chances of securing a lucrative move are starting to diminish after a poor run of form following the summer transfer window, in which he was allegedly interesting both Tottenham and Liverpool.

The PSV Eindhoven and former Spurs academy star appeared on the radar of both Premier League sides throughout the summer, but neither were able to secure a deal.

He started the season strongly, recording six goals and an assist in all competitions to open the campaign, but has seen his form fall off a cliff – failing to notch a single goal contribution since the closure of the transfer window.

Dutch outlet Soccer News claim Madueke’s form could be a cause for concern for the attacker as the chance to secure a lucrative transfer may be disappearing.

The Eredivisie side are said to value the forward at £34 million and they may be worried about not being able to receive a fee close to that mark, should interest in his services arise.

Madueke is clearly one of Europe’s most promising attackers and as a 19-year-old, he is always going to endure peaks and troughs form-wise. He demonstrated exactly why he is so sought after early on this season, so there is no doubt he can get back to that level.
