Report reveals details as Spurs allegedly consider sale of Sergio Reguilon

Tottenham are willing to listen to offers for Sergio Reguilon this summer with an unnamed Spanish club noted to be interested in the defender, according to Football Insider.

Reguilon, who joined Spurs from Real Madrid in 2020, has struggled to cement a regular place at wing-back in Antonio Conte’s side.

He was named as a substitute for Spurs’ draw at Brentford last week with Ryan Sessegnon preferred as a starting option in his place.

And the 25-year-old’s future in North London could be up in the air at the end of the season, with Football Insider reporting that Tottenham may look to cash in on the Spaniard.

It is stated that Spurs could sell Reguilon if they receive a suitable offer, which would likely be lower than the reported £28 million buy-back option Real Madrid still hold in his contract (Football.London).

The report also notes that another Spanish club has registered an interest this summer, which comes after Barcelona were named as suitors by transfer guru Fabrizio Romano.

Reguilon has made 67 appearances across two seasons for Tottenham while having a direct contribution to 11 goals in that time (Transfermarkt).

If Spurs receive a good enough offer for Reguilon, then they could be tempted into selling him this summer and moving for another profile.

He has shown glimpses during his time at the club, but it hasn’t happened nearly as often as many would have liked which is a shame because he does have all the qualities to his name.
