Report reveals Eric Dier’s thoughts towards potential ban after climbing into stands

Tottenham Hotspur were knocked out of the FA Cup at home to Norwich City on Wednesday night despite having the home advantage, the majority of possession, and the best chances.

However, despite the fact that the Canaries pulled off a dramatic win via a penalty shootout, all of the headlines were stolen by Spurs defender, Eric Dier.

After the final whistle, Dier decided to leap into the stands and climb up several rows of seats to reach his little brother, Patrick (Express).

It has since been reported that Dier feared his brother’s safety and felt as if he had no choice but to step in and drag Patrick away.

The Express claim that the FA have now launched a probe into the incident and have contacted Tottenham and even Dier himself for their observations on the matter.

The report adds that Dier is ready to accept any punishment that comes his way and believes the chances of him receiving a ban or fine are extremely high.
