The Telegraph have revealed that Tottenham’s former director of football, Fabio Paratici has not been involved in the club’s transfer decisions this summer.

Fabio Paratici was a consultant last season
Despite resigning from his position as Tottenham’s managing director of football back in April of last year following his ban by FIFA (part of which was later revoked), Paratici continued to work as a consultant for the North London side.
The Italian reportedly played a key role in Spurs’ recruitment last summer as well as during the January window, having worked closely together with the club’s technical director Johan Lange (The Athletic).
In fact, Postecoglou himself revealed back in January that he has regular conversations with Paratici, praising the former Spurs director’s eye for talent (Football.London).

Paratici is no longer involved at Spurs
However, The Telegraph have now revealed that Paratici has not at all been involved in the club’s decisions this summer.
The outlet says that even though the 52-year-old remains close to Daniel Levy, he has not played a role in any of Tottenham’s incomings or outgoings.
In fact, Paratici has not even been present in any of the meetings this summer, which is said to mark a ‘shift’ in Spurs’ transfer approach.
Spurs Web Opinion
One can tell just by the fact that there have been very few leaks this window that Paratici has not been involved, with all of Tottenham’s targets tending to find their way to the press when the Italian was running things.
It was time for Tottenham to move on from the Italian transfer guru, even if we did make some great signings under him.
