German publication TZ have claimed that Bayern Munich are willing to spend over €100m (£86.4m) to sign Harry Kane next summer.
Kane, whose current contract with Spurs runs out at the end of next season (Transfermarkt), has been heavily linked with a move to Bayern next summer.
Bild reported earlier this week that the England captain’s name is being ‘hotly debated’ among the Bayern hierarchy ahead of next summer’s transfer window.
The publication asserted that the Bundesliga giants are keen to add another number nine to their squad after losing Robert Lewandowski over the summer.
However, CBS Sports journalist Ben Jacobs revealed two days ago that Spurs remain relaxed about Kane’s future and believe the striker is open to signing a new deal at the club when the time is right.
TZ have now backed up the idea of Bayern being keen on adding a number nine to their squad next summer, with the publication asserting that the Tottenham man is the club’s top target.
It is said that Julian Nagelsmann’s side are even ‘ready to break’ the €100m (£86.4m) barrier for the 29-year-old.
The report explains that should a deal for Kane not prove feasible, Bayern have identified Borussia Monchengladbach’s Marcus Thuram as an alternative to the 29-year-old.

I believe that Kane will commit his future to the club if Antonio Conte signs a new contract at Spurs as the striker seems to have fully bought into the Italian’s project. That is one of the reasons why it is crucial for Tottenham to tie down the 53-year-old sooner rather than later.
