Report reveals four players who could leave Spurs in summer if Mourinho stays

A report from The Telegraph has claimed that Tottenham could be set to overhaul their squad in the summer if Jose Mourinho is still at the club.

It has been suggested that Mourinho is under threat of losing his job unless Spurs manage to finish in the top four.

Although the North Londoners only find themselves three points behind fourth-placed Chelsea, finishing above their London rivals will not be easy as the Blues have been in fantastic form since Thomas Tuchel replaced Frank Lampard at the helm.

If Mourinho does manage to retain his job, The Telegraph claim that Dele Alli, Harry Winks and Serge Aurier could be on the way out this summer. Additionally, it is suggested that a move to Paris Saint-Germain is on the cards for Hugo Lloris.

The report reveals that Nick Pope is Tottenham’s number one choice to replace Lloris if the Frenchman leaves while the club also have their eye on Norwich defender Max Aarons.

However, it is asserted that central defence is the position that Mourinho wants to prioritise with Tottenham watching Lille’s Sven Botman and Southampton’s Jannik Vestergaard closely over recent months.

If we sell Winks, Dele, Aurier, Lloris and one of our centre-backs, and bring in Aarons, Botman, Vestergaard and Pope (with Skipp also set to return), I would be quite happy with the window. The challenge this summer is going to be shifting out some of our fringe players for decent value as there is not a lot of money likely to be thrown around.
