Report reveals Harry Kane’s shocking stats against Arsenal – Possession lost 11 times

The Sun have revealed Harry Kane’s individual stats (via Opta) from Tottenham’s 3-1 loss in the North London derby and it makes for grim reading.

Tottenham fans would have been hoping that Kane had turned a corner after breaking his drought with a goal against Wolves in the Carabao Cup during midweek.

However, the striker once again fell short at the Emirates on Sunday as his struggles in front of goal continued.

Some pundits have suggested on the back of the performance on Sunday that the England captain has lost his enthusiasm after a transfer to Manchester City fell through during the summer.

Kane’s numbers certainly suggest that all is not well with the 28-year-old.

The Sun have revealed that the striker mustered five shots against Arsenal, only one of which hit the target.

He also missed one ‘big chance’ and failed to create a single chance for his side or register any dribbles.

Kane managed just 25 touches across the 90 minutes, completed five of his 11 passes with a woeful pass completion rate of 46 per cent. He even gave the ball away 11 times, which becomes even worse when you see he only had 25 touches.

In the air, he won just 33% of his duels and on the ground, that number fell to 20%.

These numbers certainly should be a matter of concern for Tottenham. In many ways, the North London derby was the best opportunity for Kane to shut his critics up and show that he is still fully committed to helping Tottenham to achieve success. However, the 28-year-old once again looked a shadow of his former self.
