Report reveals hefty fee Bournemouth want for Spurs target Callum Wilson

The Daily Mail have reported that Tottenham have now turned their attention towards a new striker after securing the signing of Joe Hart on a free transfer this week.

Spurs struggled with injuries last season, particularly at the top end of the pitch, with Harry Kane representing the only senior out-and-out striker at the club.

Therefore, Tottenham are said to be keen on bringing in an understudy for the England captain this summer and may look towards his international teammate, Callum Wilson.

However, it is reported that Bournemouth are reluctant to let Wilson leave on the cheap this summer despite their relegation from the Premier League.

The Cherries are said to be demanding £30m for the England striker, although Jose Mourinho is reportedly working to a strict summer budget.

This comes just weeks after the Daily Mail also reported that Spurs were leading the race for Wilson and could sign him for just £10m.

West Ham, Everton, and Crystal Palace are also said to be keen on signing the 28-year-old Bournemouth man.
