Report reveals how long Son was out last time he had surgery on a fractured arm

Tottenham Hotspur revealed today that their hero from the weekend, Heung Min Son, actually sustained a fractured arm against Aston Villa in the Premier League.

This may come as a surprise to many, as the South Korean forward continued to play through the pain and even scored twice for the Lilywhites in the 3-2 win at Villa Park.

However, much like Harry Kane and Moussa Sissoko, Sonny must now undergo surgery, with Spurs claiming that it should keep him out for weeks.

Despite this, Mourinho is more pessimistic about the injury and claims that he won’t be calling upon the forward again this season.

The Athletic have now revealed in an article that this is not the first time Son has fractured an arm, as he did so in 2017 when playing for South Korea.

They say that Son missed 61 days after having surgery on that injury a few years ago, which could potentially go some way to indicating his recovery period this time around.
