Report reveals how many Spurs fans would be allowed to attend Carabao Cup final

The Daily Mail has revealed that 2000 Tottenham Hotspur fans will be allowed to attend the Carabao Cup final at Wembley on April 25.

It was reported two weeks ago that the government had given the green light for 8000 supporters to attend the final between Spurs and Manchester City.

The report revealed that the number of tickets would be split between two sets of fans, local residents and NHS staff.

The Mail has now confirmed that 2000 tickets each will be allocated to both clubs while the remaining 4000 will go to Brent residents and NHS staff.

Fans of both sides must prove that they are not infected with Covid through a vaccine certificate, recent negative test or proof of immunity.

It has also been revealed that City fans would have to use Covid-safe transport to travel to Wembley.

There is no confirmation yet on what such transport actually entails, whether fans are permitted to sing or if wearing masks while seated inside the national stadium are mandatory.
